CAT(agory)23 - That place on the internet for travelers who don't find into the standard catagories. Not quite exotic enough for the rich and famous, not quite packaged enough for tour groups. Your looking for some adventure, but not quite ready to swim with sharks or climb mountains. Your interested in rubbing elbows with the locals but prefer a slightly higher degree of comfort than a backpack and mattress.

We are of the - If we can do it, you can do it - school. You get a little older and slower and maybe you stop being active and start to think that because your not young and athletic any longer you can't do alot of things. Maybe a little bulge in the belly, maybe the knees hurt a little more than they used to.

Well, we are here to tell you that just because you can't consider yourself an athlete any longer, dosen't mean you can't still be active. You don't have to ride yourself to exhaustion to consider it exercise. If you ride somewhere between 10 and 15 MPH, you will get your heart rate up and get the benefit of some aerobic exercise and can knock off 20 miles in an hour or so with a couple decent rest breaks thrown in.

Our goal is to tell you more than just - here's the trail. We try to add useful information such as - where to park, additional places to access the trail other than the trail head, whether there are any facilities along the trail, and some idea of the terrain and surrounding area of the tail if it goes through urban areas. We ride the trails ourselves and put what we feel are representative pictures in the articles.

We are not bike nuts either. We're not out doing a hundred miles a week, (Although it probably would not hurt if we did!). Life is busy, and we enjoy doing more than just bike riding every weekend. We take self guided bike tours in Europe because they are really fun. Everyone likes to say they want their vacation experience to be more than a guided tour through well worn tourist spots. Well, we are here to show you a way to acheive exactly that in a safe, interesting, and creative way. Our articles tell you who to contact, how it works, and what to expect along the way. What we have found is the main obstacle to not doing something like this is simply thinking that you can't. You don't have to be one of those who say - I wish I could do stuff like that - because you can and it probably isn't as expensive as you think. You would probably spend more on a week long Florida resort vacation than you would on a European bike tour vacation.

Get on your bike and join us. You have nothing to lose but boring vacations.
